Rice Bran Wax
Oryza Sativa Cera
Rice Bran Wax is a plant-derived wax obtained from the outer layer of rice bran during the production of rice bran oil. It acts as an emollient and occlusive, helping to soften the skin while forming a protective barrier that reduces moisture loss. It is also used to thicken and stabilise cosmetic formulations, giving creams, balms, sticks, and lip products a smooth texture and improved structure. As a vegan alternative to beeswax, it is commonly found in moisturisers, lip balms, sunscreens, and colour cosmetics.
